บทความนี้ให้ทั้งความรู้และแง่คิดที่ดีมากๆ ควรอ่านไม่ควรมองข้ามนะ..ขอบอก.....

Used vs. Loved
ถูกใช้(งาน) / เป็นที่รัก(ถูกรัก)

While a man was polishing his new car,
ขณะที่ชายคนหนึ่งกำลังขัดรถใหม่ของเขา
his 6 yr old son picked up a stone and scratched lines on the side of the car.
ลูกชายวัย 6 ขวบได้เอาก้อนหินมาขีดเส้นข้างรถของเขา
In anger, the man took the child's hand and hit it many times;
ด้วยความโกรธ เขาจับมือลูกชายมา ตีอย่างแรงไปหลายที
not realizing he was using a wrench.
โดยไม่ได้ตระหนักว่า สิ่งที่เขาใช้ตีคือ ประแจขันน็อต

At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures.
ที่รพ. ลูกชายของเขาต้องสูญเสียนิ้วมือทั้งหมด เพราะกระดูกแตกละเอียด
When the child saw his father.....
เมื่อเด็กชายเจอพ่อ
with painful eyes he asked,
เขาถามพ่อด้วยสายตาอันเจ็บปวด
'Dad when will my fingers grow back?'
พ่อครับ นิ้วผมจะงอกมาเหมือนเดิมเมื่อไหร่ครับ
The man was so hurt and speechless;
ชายคนนั้นเจ็บปวดมากและพูดไม่ออก
he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times.
เขากลับไปเตะรถคันนั้นหลายครั้ง
Devastated by his own actions.....
เขาได้ทำลายมันด้วยตัวเขาเอง
sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches;
เขานั่งหน้ารถแล้วมองที่รอยขีดข่วน
the child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'.
ลูกชายเขาเขียนว่า "ผมรักพ่อ"
The next day that man committed suicide……
วันรุ่งขึ้น เขาก็ฆ่าตัวตาย

Anger and Love have no limits;
ความโกรธและความรักไม่มีขีดจำกัด
choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely life.....
จงเลือกสิ่งหลัง เพื่อการอยู่อย่างงดงามและอบอวลด้วยความรัก

Things are to be used and people are to be loved.
สิ่งของทั้งหลายมีไว้เพื่อให้ใช้ คนมีไว้เพื่อให้รัก
But the problem in today's world is that,
แต่ปัญหาของโลกในปัจุบันคือ
People are used and things are loved....
คนมีไว้เพื่อถูกใช้งาน แต่สิ่งของกลับเป็นที่รัก

In this year, let's be careful to keep this thought in mind:
จากนี้ไป ขอให้พวกเราตั้งใจจดจำไว้ว่า
Things are to be used, but People are to be loved.
สิ่งของทั้งหลาย มีไว้เพื่อถูกใช้งาน และคนมีไว้เพื่อเป็นที่รัก

Watch your thoughts;
จงเฝ้าดูความคิดคุณ
they become words.
เพราะมันจะกลายเป็นคำพูด

Watch your words;
จงเฝ้าระวังคำพูด
they become actions.
เพราะมันจะกลายเป็นการกระทำ

Watch your actions;
จงเฝ้าดูการกระทำ
they become habits.
เพราะมันจะเป็นนิสัย

Watch your habits,
จงเฝ้าระวังนิสัยคุณ
they become character;
เพราะมันจะเป็นบุคคลิก

Watch your character;
จงเฝ้าดูบุคคลิก
it becomes your destiny.
เพราะมันจะบอกความเป็นตัวตนของคุณ
